Peter Nelson is a musical polymath. At a young age, he developed a relationship to sound that allowed him to excel as a composer and performer on several instruments. In his career he has collaborated with Grammy winners Jamie Cullum and Christian McBride and Grammy nominees Maelo Ruiz and Orrin Evans, released Albums critically acclaimed in jazz periodicals Downbeat and All About Jazz, and works as an arranger for record labels, universities, and films. Most recently Nelson has served as keyboardist and chief arranger for world renown events band, the Hudson Horns and Hudson Strings, which have performed for Google, The Dupont Family, The Winklevoss Twins, and many more. Like the great Victor Feldman, another musical polymath who, as a prolific songwriter, percussionist, marimbaist, and pianist, played with everyone from Miles Davis, to Johnny Cash, to Elton John, Peter Nelson skillfully brings an exciting musical perspective to every score and instrument he touches.
